I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

What do you mean?
Port's no good either."It's up to the rest of the players in the room to make a new batch of premiership players next year," Adam Goodes, triple Bob Skilton Medallist, October 7, 2011.

No the fact that Port are far more skilled than Carlton is why we got touched up last week, we dished up the same hesitant, stop start affair, but tonight we came away with the points b/c Carlton are not PA.Comment

IMHO - a less than average performance. But I still got out of my chair and got animated! - good to see the swans post a result regardless of how it came about!
But bringing myself back down to reality .... (possibly a well worn thread) what the hell is the use of chambers? geez - this guy is gonna give me a peptic ulsar at least 10 years before i'm due!
Other than that dill ... as un-pretty as it was, it was still the first 4 points!! Go Bloods!!"You got .. rock 'n roll eyes ..!"Comment

The teamwork was starting to gel tonight - and that's a good sign. They are still rusty but it's early days. At least they went back to trying throughout and that's a big postive.
Playing like that, the only two teams they are likely to beat are the Blues and the Cats. We played infinitely better than the Geelong boys today.
When will peole realise it's 2006? It's a whole new dynamic. Last year the Swans won the Premiership and the Blues won the spoon. Right now, I can't see the Blues letting themselves down enough to win the spoon - and I can't see the Swans lifting enough to win the flag. But there are 19 H&A games to go so anything could happen. (I can't see the Hawks in the running for the spoon either.)
No reason why we can't win the next two games at home. Then it's the Lions at the Gabba. Groundhog Day.Comment

We really fluffed the chance to kill the game off in the first quarter. Just some very lazy attempts on goal.
It seems that quite a few players are still on auto-pilot, especially when rebounding off half back (or maybe it was just LRT?).
Willo should start to be worried. It's obvious that he's caring a leg injury. It's also the 2nd week in a row where he's not been able to run out a whole game.Comment

But at his age he probably can't afford to be carrying an injury and play senior football. I reckon he will still be an important player for us this year, but if he ain't right, he'd be better off having a couple of weeks rest.Comment

what an interesting game - happy with the win and hopefully we've shaken off the cobwebs and can build up to some consistent footy in the next few weeks
apart from some shocking skill errors and decision making we seemed to do more 1%ers and played some team footy (although the handballing was excessive at times) which was pleasing.
we need to do some work at the clearances as we were shizen and when we do get it, its normally a mongrel punt to our forward line - we dont seem to get it moving forward like other sides via quick handballs - this frustrates me
but i'm just looking forward to next week now and its time to defeat the bloody dees in sydney for a change
and if quartermaine mentions "premiership hangover" once more i'm a chance to belt him one and i wasnt impressed with the "swans ugly footy" graphic at the end - its poor form by ch 10Roosy = LEGENDComment

Open the account... definitely not flawless and Carlton will worry sides this year...
If only they'd man up
I do admit going nuts at the Carlton malakas who booed at the final siren. Seriously, get your team to man up. The AFL has made the game like soccer, so play it like that.
I really did my block at the booing. I will not stand it from a club who's history is all poaching every other team's best players, cheating with salary caps, the 1945 bloodbath grand final, and trying to end the Bloods in 1993 and have all their away games played at the SCG.
Go South!
Go Bloods!Comment

Painful, painful match to watch. Skills are still rusty and the amount of indecision is making us look like a joke atm. Still a win is a win and i will definately take it.
1 thing is clear about our first 3 performances is our lack of centre bounce clearences. We are just pathetic in this aspect. Ruck set up needs work as Jolly's taps seemed to be easily sharked by the Blues on ballers.
The chip chip play 10 minutes from the end of the game was nausiating but the Blues didn't seem to man up at all.
Malceski looks like a seasoned player already and should be in the 22 for the rest of the season.Official Driver Of The "Who Gives A @@@@ As The Player Will Get Delisted Anyway" Bandwagon.
