Match report made mention of the fact that he had an injured elbow, would have hindered him somewhat I would say.

Speaking of the ruck, as others have mentioned on here, we were smashed out of the centre and around the ground clearances again. At one stage in second or third quarter it was 9-0 in favour of Carlton. First use of the ball goes such a long way to winning a game, this needs to be addressed by coaching staff, we a need a sammy mitchell type, he killed Geelong in the centre yesterday.

Good Point about needing a Sammy Mitchell type

We have one waiting in the wings JARRED MOORE !!!

Tough, in and under with quick, clean hands

Very important as we are getting smashed in the centre

Absolutely agree. Sitting watching that game from atop TD these 2 stood out as very ordinary.

When Ablett was in the centre bounces he was either intent on tagging Stevens (badly) or when he got his hands on the footy just held it in without any intention of clearing it. His reaction time is super slow. Should never be in at the centre bounce regardless of who he is on. He is getting caught a ridiculously large number of times.

McVeigh, when he got caught when he doubled back when clear, I just said not good enough, and others around me roundly agreed. He doesn't get it enough, is poor in the in and under contests and is just too slow for the modern game. 60's player.

          I am with you there.

I was absolutely staggered when Mark Harding in the Sunday Herald Sun gave Leo Barry 5th BOG.

One poster said he was terrific. Yeah, when he tried to be too cute AGAIN and Fevola took it off him for a goal in the last Q was the height of the stupidity of this man.

18 kicks all uncontested. Cheap kicks as they say. 2 shocking turnovers for goals for no other reason than he is a lair and non team player. Captain, my lemonade he is.

Twice Bolton J and Buchanan were 50 metres clear on the fat side of the ground, he saw them, motioned to go their way then played to the crowd by going across to the crowded side to players under the pump.

The times he ran to the centre of the ground uncontested, backtracked then wanted to handball off to players covered a metre away.

He is no doubt the dumbest player in the comp.

That is harsh. Very Harsh. Had it not been for his mark West Coast would be premiers atm.

Probably. Take Leo Barry out of the team and someone else would have been in his place.

And if that other person didnt mark they probably would have spoiled as it was gerenally a congested forward line.

That would have been enough time for the siren to sound.

Well why then don't we just close down the club and sit back and watch countless replays of our 5 pack DVD Grand Final set and bask in the glory for ever and a day. We could just marvel at the heroics and the poor Leo Barry kick to Dean Cox that resulted in the turnover that allowed him to take the specky.

I happen to want to move to the next phase of my life and see another flag. It is a new season, new challenges, more Leo Barry dumbness. If he used his possessions to create something he could be the superstar that some people think he is.

By the way why wasn't that a free to Fevola when he tried to take a specky in the 2nd Q when he was up way before the ball arrived. Eyes on the ball (well who would know that) but major interference.

check out whose hands where next in line to take the mark and the way his hands were in position he would have taken it.

Yeah he is frsutrating to watch but there is no real right why you should brand him the dumbest player at the club.

At the end of the day he owes you nothing really.

Probably as he got a hand to the ball the umpire ruled it as going for the mark (you could argue anyone who jumps up the back of the opponent could be causing interference), if he didnt get a hand to it then a justifiable free to Fevola

He owes you nothing. Who do you think you are nico?

Honestly some of the supporters on this board think they are above all, even the club.

Nico is. Simple statement of fact. (And I'm a Leo Barry fan!)

It wasn't a free because the umpire made a mistake.

That's about the only of your LB comments I agree with though.

Got his hand to the ball, so it was play on.

Not a realistic attempt to mark. The fact that it grazed his hand as it went behind him is irrelevant IMO. He interfered with Fevola in the process and stopped him from competing. Maintain it should have been a free.
