    The socks are POX

    The red & white hooped socks the Swans have been wearing in the first three Rounds are dreadfull, pox and doesn't enhance the look of the shorts and jumper one iota.

    Do we have to wear these socks all season ? Has there been a change of policy regarding the socks that hasn't been articulated to the Swans supporters ? What is the reason behind the Swans wearing these poxy socks in the first three Rounds ?

    Me thinks these poxy socks are the reason for the Swans woeful start to the season - they are UN-BLOODS like.....

          I love the hoops. Bought a pair 2 years ago and have worn them every game day since.

          The hoops are for the Bloods!

                  I hate them. Bloody camp, girlie candy stripes that belong on clowns not football players who call themselves the bloods. Bring back the red socks!

                      The striped socks are the original ones that were worn until the advent of colour TV in the 1970's. I always hated it when we changed to "Melbourne Football Club" socks. I'm happy to see them gone, hopefully permanently.

                          Why do we need to bring up this subject every year?
                          It looks to me that they players don't mind if they look like a Cat in a Hat
                          Seriously, it doesn't botter me as much as seeing this post every year going on about it.

                                          Honestly,who cares what socks they are wearing?

                                          If the Swans changed their playing strip every couple of years all in the name of the dollar(like NRL Clubs do)then i'd be pissed off!
                                          Well done Craig Bolton for getting the co- captaincy in 2008.
