Havent you noticed that players actually improve off field when they leave the saints.

I don't know why anyone would want to be play for such a rabble of a club.

I would take Aker or Spida. Occassionally geniuses are flawed but they are still damned good football players.

I would take spida as well. He always dominates at the SCG.

To quote the Matrix, "when i see chance, i see cost". What would you be willing to give up for Spida if he were to walk out on the Hawks?

I would not give them a first round pick.

Probably not, although I think he's worth more to us than to them. If he was the difference between us winning another flag in 2007 and not, would you give up a first round draft pick then?

They could use a decent tall backman, we could trade them one of ours.

Spida would have a better chance to win a flag in 2007/8 by staying where he is.

They have a very good young list and will win a flag in the next couple of years.

I'd rather we used our first round pick on Spida than Chambers.

                      I really doubt that.

I always thought it was Jeff Kennett in the Humphery B Bear suit.
And the man who started it all, the Schneiderman . . . . .

Looks like Spida did an Aker!

HAWTHORN ruckman Peter Everitt announced yesterday he was close to re-signing with the Hawks for a further year.

Pretty sure Nick Davis said a similar thing at the start of the season he left to join the Swans....
