    Melbourne Media

Just looking at the Hun site, it is interesting to see the spin they put on the game just in the titles for their related stories. You'd think that the Demons had romped away with the win...

"Kokoda courage gets Melbourne over line"
    "Defiant Demons"
    "Dees show resolve"
    "No great escape"
    "Swans slow to adapt"
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

They had 3 players injured and were on there 2nd consecutive road trip and beat the 2005 premiers... I think its justified to have those story titles.

I agree it was a good victory for them, I just enjoy reading the Melbourne spin on things.

Okay which is worse out of these two, both from the SMH?

        "Dee-moralised"
        or
"Swans get a case of Dee ja vu"

So nothing about "Ugly" or "Flooding"?

It appears the SMH has an extensive library of puns evidenced by 95% of story captions throughout the paper - any thoughts on the punnicisms for next weeks clash?

If we lose badly - 'Cats send feathers flying'
If there's a bit of agro in the game - 'Swans feathers ruffled by angry Cats'

                I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If anyone noticed the Channel 7 ticker in Martin Place/Flinders Street a few days ago, the word 'ugly' preceeded the word 'Carlton' regarding their loss to the Hawks. It finally seems as though the adjective no longer solely belongs to us.

I'd like to see "Geelong Way From The Top".
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

History repeats Swans rob the Cats of Victory again.

A Barry Hall goal after the siren seals comeback win for courageous Swans.

Meantime a rather large Swans fan taken to hospital with heart failure at the final siren
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

How true, and what irks me is how they constantly bag the swans the for their chipping around, only a few out there (Walls, Brereton mostly) say the swans are good at it, as the other side has 18 players in the swans forward 50..
I mean what are they suppose to do, just bomb it in and hope for the best.
The only way to counteract that is for the swans to go long and quick and get BBBH one out with his opponent or MOL on the lead.
