Has someone already beat me to this Mathews thread?

I actually thought that Mathews was travelling quite alright before his last quarter blunder. (BTW has anyone already mentioned this?)

To get straight to the point how could he handball directly to a Melbourne player approximately 5 metres away from him - Couldn't have been pressure, I can't recall that he was tackled before giving away the match losing handball. I could understand a blunder under the pressure of a tackle but not a direct Melbourne target due to perceived pressure in his mind - Or was it a lack of talking in the back line?

I mentioned it somewhere tonight. What else do you expect from a non accountable dud. Is he married to the daughter of an influential sponsor or someone else at the club, because he sure is a protected species.

He did a deplorable grubber when inside 50 and free AGAIN. Has one of these each week.

    Talk about THE WEAKEST LINK.

I'm pretty sure it was deflected.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

The handball was deflected not handballed directly to the opponent. Davey just got his hand in the way at the last second.
