I actually thought that Mathews was travelling quite alright before his last quarter blunder. (BTW has anyone already mentioned this?)
To get straight to the point how could he handball directly to a Melbourne player approximately 5 metres away from him - Couldn't have been pressure, I can't recall that he was tackled before giving away the match losing handball. I could understand a blunder under the pressure of a tackle but not a direct Melbourne target due to perceived pressure in his mind - Or was it a lack of talking in the back line?
