    Injury list

Stephen Doyle (hamstring) - 3-4 weeks
    Paul Bevan (hamstring) - test
Andrew Ericksen (shoulder) - 7 weeks
    Nick Davis (hamstring) 2-3 weeks
    Paul Currie (knee) test
    Jarred Moore (thumb) 3 weeks
Plus Jolly apparently in doubt for Geelong.

    Disappointing to see Moore out.

Didn't realise Ericksen is out for so long either.

Anyone want to guess how long Doyle's injury really is for?

My bet is Doyle will be right for rd 12 (at which point he will return to the reserves only to injure himself against in rd 13 and be out again for the season).

Surely Doyle's AFL career is now over.

With Moore out now it definately opens the door for Schmidt to impress and really push for that senior spot, specfically NOG's spot.

            Spriggs bandwagon!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I though Willoughby was injured in the 2's??

If not, then he must be close to a call up.

Its time for the contract to be drawn up to get Spida!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

According to The Age, Doyle out for up to four but Davis's scan revealed only a "tiny strain".

My guess is that the hyphen in 3-4 weeks will prove to be redundant.

Indeed - he's still got the desire. talent, ability and fitness, unlike Doyles (sadly).

It seems that most players (who have been at some stage previously with St Kilda) thrive when they move up here - it could be the best thing to happen to Spida - and we may get maybe 3 years out of him - its better than continuing with a player who, whilst he shows promise is damned unlucky with injuries.
