    Hi Guys,
I am new to your forum I stay in Scotland and will be visiting relatives in Sydney soon, I know I will be at a Swan's game which I assume will be againsy Western Bulldogs ( what a daft name) I have been following Swans' fortunes and I have to say I am surprised by recent results, the question is will things improve for my visit?

    Hearts?

And in answer to your question, I bloody hope so!!!!

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Hey quick reply and correct only I could arrange a visit to the other side of the world when my ream is in the Cup Final but at least I had the delight of seeing us hammer Hibs 4-0 in the semi but that is not the purpose of this forum come on the Swans let me have a good time at the match. I believe beer is on sale at the game is this true as its illegal in Scotland.?

Yes, you can get beer at the ground. I may be mistaken, but in the general admission and concourse areas, you may only be able to get light beer (the theory being that the "troublemakers" are less likely to have the expensive stand seats, from which you can not only get fullstrength beer, but wine and spirits too...)

The dogs are a very good side this year, and I fear we might be on the end of a sound thrashing if we don't find a bit of form, fast!! Still, it is very close to the team that won the premiership last year, so we just have to remember what we did....

Is it the same logic that keeps the CS dry ? You know, sadly, there were a couple there 'blind' on Sunday

Thanks for replying I must admit I have only looked at Swan's results and whereas it as been a disappointing star I am not familiar with opposition form but looking forward to having a good time and a Swans victory. My Brother in Law assures me it is an experience not to be missed, but hey with some beer on the go I wont want to miss it!

CS is the Cheer Squad - ROK was referring to a comment that someone made yesterday that there were a couple of blind people in the CS.

Unfortunately no (and I nearly coughed up my sultana bran all over the keyboard ). You are thinking of cheer leaders!

Do you think, if we had cheerleaders, the Swans wouldn't be losing?
My Pokemon brings all the boys to the yard and they're like "Wanna trade cards?"
"Damn right, I wanna trade cards. I can beat you, I've got Charizard!"

I dunno, but I reckon I'd get more bang for my buck watching the cheerleaders rather than the crap being served up by the swans atm.
