This week, add some dash. Stella reckons he's learnt to kick (I reckon Stella's drinking before lunch time again), against his old club, from what I have seen of him he knows how to get his hands on it. Even if his disposal is poor he might slow the Cats' down a tad. I say bring him on...
What chance Spriggs?

Bring him in! Spriggs bandwagon!I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

Hmmm Chambers was actually showing something like being a servicable option in the ruck vs Melb.
May haved saved his spot for a couple of matches at least.Premiers 09,18,33,05

Retrograde step bringing him in.
Play someone like Willoughby or Schmidt. You know if we play one of these guys with the Premiership Team after 3 years in the 2's, where they dont have seconds players around them, they might just star and make the grade in one hit.Comment

I don't think the Cats would be sending spies to our reserves games each week, so springing a debutant or two on the Cats could unsettle their team balance. As the reigning premiers, the opposition will be well aware of the capabilities of the 22 that played on Grand Final day and will have done their homework. This is why a debutant could be a masterstroke; they will not know them anywhere near as well.Originally posted by Nico

Get him in, give him 3 games, if he aint AFL level, piss him off and let him play park footy back home. That said, I'd like to see a young bloke get a go.Comment

Bring him in for Nicky D. Check out at his contested marking skills:

Spriggs In
Chambers Out
Even put Spriggsy into the ruck! Its not as though he's gonna do any worse than Chambers!!!!!!Some people say Football is a matter of life and death - I say it's a lot more important than that!

Against the cats on the larger Telstra Stadium, leg speed will be crucial."As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk

He has played well for the cats before, perhaps he can do it againOriginally posted by ScottH
Some players lift against their old clubs and WE NEED SOME LEG SPEED, so he should be given a chance to play.

I was thinking that too when I watched the reserves on Sunday, unfortunately Josh did something unpleasant to an arm.Originally posted by hammo
