Andrew only played 4 games in 2005; Rd 6,7,8 then 2 weeks in Canberra and then his final appearance at AFL level in Rd 11, a victory over Carlton. Lance Whitnall touched Andrew up in Rd 11, then Andrew spent most of the game off the ground (although he still managed to do a few memorable things, took an absolute screamer) and was sent back to Canberra for the rest of the year before retiring at the end of the 2005 season aged 28.
