I thought the umpiring was okay.

Made some ordinary calls, which we were generally on the right side, but no real impact.

Stayed between the sticks, nice flag waving. One possibly dubious "hitting the post" decision but Teddy was convincing and no Geelong player whined so he probably got it right.

I hardly had to boo them all night, about the same number of "@#$$%^%%@$1" (self mod) decisions either way.

Therefore, they had little impact on the result of the game.

              No major compalints.

              67.5% OK

The Umpires were 2nd best on ground for Geelong, behind Girlie Hippie Locks (Cameron Mooney)

Got some bad calls no doubt, the "mark" to Goodes not paid comes to mind but Geelong were also on the end of some soft calls.

I thought the umpiring was the best I've seen for awhile, they made a few bad calls but bad calls are made in every AFL match. The umpires cant see everything we can see on the telly or in the stands at the ground. I'd give the umps a pat on the back.

After watching the StKilda v Fremantle debacle unfold today, I realised that it could be worse for us.

I don't think the umpiring was an issue at all.

The game appeared to flow well for both teams.

The umpiring was definatly the least biased all year, fairly even and fair I thought. The only complaint I did have was that they were blowing their whistle a little too often at stages. I'm a supporter of only blowing the bleeding obvious ones.

Yeah - that was crazy. I had to leave straight after, so i didn't get to see the fallout. It's hard to believe.
