Great to see Kennelly back and in form and even better to see the old war-horse Willo back to some form as well. I seem to recall a few threads on here not long ago suggesting Willo was the next Maxfield (ie. he will fade out into football oblivion). I realise that this is only one week but hopefully it is just the start of a run of good form for Willo. Good work boys.Go you mighty BLOODBOYS!Comment

I thought that they both played very well last night and that Kennelly was one of the Swans' best.My Pokemon brings all the boys to the yard and they're like "Wanna trade cards?"

Last year the Swan's early slump exactly matched Willo's injury time. He came back and they fired. And it happened again last night. You could argue he's our MVP.Comment

Kennelly creates the run out of the backline for us which is what we were missing for the first 3 matches, willo always puts in 110% & that will be praised when he plays his 300th against the tigers in Round 7.Forget about Hall, it's all about BradshawComment

They both had very good games last night, as did quite a few others. It's very easy to win when everyone's "on song". Now, to be able to keep winning when they're not.....
I thought there were a fair number of Swans who had purple patches within the game, and fortunately these were spread out just enough to ensure the Swans were generally in control.
But still loads of room for improvement.Comment

But you have to admit Liz that, for the first time this season, they did resemble the Swans Premiership team of 2005.
Finally we saw drive and commitment, teamwork and a surprising degree of skill. Not throughout, but often enough - and a lot more than the Cats. So much for the return grudge match.Comment

I thought the teamwork and intensity were good, which is what gave us the win (plus Geelong struggled). Individually, the performances and skills are patchy.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Yeah it's interesting, ROK and Mick needed to lift and they took turns, ROK in the first half and Mick in the second.
Schneids was fantastic all night. He's moving into another class now. He's balancing the accountability with opportunity very well.
Probably, Jude Baz and Tiger were the most consistently good all night.
Crouchy made Ablett work very hard all night for his return. However, Crouchy had to work quite had to do that and took away his run as well.
Going to be a hard decision when Davis is ready to fire as to who gets dropped. Mal has been fantastic and would be a tragedy to interupt his momentum in the seniors.
I think the closest thing we have to an under-performer (that isn't a pinch hitting ruckman from Geelong) at the moment is maybe Noggy. Who else? The Pain of Discipline is Nothing Like The Pain of DisappointmentComment
