I can't wait to get to work at the Geelong Addy on Tuesday - wish I was working on Monday.
Shall i wear my Swans scarf?
Too bad they don't let me in the Editorial department!
Those sports writers realy annoy me!
The cats will still make the front page on Monday tho!CHER - Who has two types of blood cells "RED ones and WHITE ones"Comment

(f) - Spent all of last quarter pacing carpark of unfortunately-scheduled wedding, headphones in and listening to triple m. Geelong-supporting fiancee and parents-in-law at game. Cavorted like lunatic when Swans kick 2 quick goals. Ran into reception hall to deliver news to about 5 other disgruntled Swans fans also at wedding.
Felt alright.
177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

I was thinking after the game "We are back". That is a pretty satisfying feeling to be honest.
I just wish more than 1 person at work would mention it. At least a few are talking NRL this morning, which is unusual.

There is nothing better to allay early season doubts than playing well and beating a highly-rated opponent.
Typically most of the Melbourne media is focussed on Geelong's stuttering form rather than Sydney's return to form. However I am not as worried about this as I usually would.
The fact is, Geelong was not allowed to play well.
My only concerns:
1. Inaccuracy
2. Why was Mooney the danger man all night (LRT?)? It seemed all Geelong had to do was kick it to him and brought back memories of Lloyd in rnd 1. With Johnathon Brown looming next week I hope we sort it out."As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk
