RBN doesn't have the same ring to it.

Good pickup, the Saints were chasing him too.

I look forward to the day when RBN is named on the half-back flank next to LRT, only out of a sense of morbid curiosity to see how the team sheets would look with two hyphenated names on the same line. Knowing the wicked inventiveness of the Swans with the team sheets now, there's a chance this could happen.

              Good luck to him.

There was a really nice photo and article about him in the age on the weekend. For someone so tall he looked very athletic and co-ordinated (compared to say, Chambers or Wall)

Was in the Sun-Herald up here as well.

                    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

good luck to him. all i hope for however is that a good number (at least two or three from each year) of these teenage projects come out of this program and progress to being 100+ gamers at any afl club. if one or two end up at the swans it's a bonus.

afl is the best game in the world. soccer? a good game but it's our hands that distinguish us from the apes......
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

Two or three would be fantastic but given the amount of kids coming from "above th e line" in the last 5 or so years I think just one is more realistic.

But it will be interesting, if there is any value to the theory that in reasonable part, league footballers can be "made" this will be the test given the clubs can get their hands on them so young.
