According to the orgasming commentators Judd had 23 possessions to half time, which means when the game was there to be won in the second half he only had 10 possessions. Hardly BOG stuff, just like the GF.

BTW did any of the I50 go to the teams advantage, that stat is far more important than how many times he got it I50.

That's an amazing criticism.

10 possessions in a half is a decent performance for most players.

It's a bit hard to keep 23 possessions per half pace for a whole game.

Also worth remembering that he gets most of his possessions himself. Not so many handball receives or easy marks. Plenty of hard ball gets.

Despite what you think, Judd doesn't do many clangers.

It's amazing how people can talk about how well some Swans players played when they get 10-15 possessions and a couple of clearances, but then denigrate a player from another team who manages 30+ possessions, double figures in clearances, and kicks some goals.

When Leigh Matthews describes Judd's game last week "as good as it gets" as an onballer that's pretty high praise.

he burnt himself out in the first half i was at the game and he was absolutely buggered in 3rd qtr found a bit in the last but not enough to win the game

That's exactly the point I have been trying to make for 8 months now. I have never disputed that he is a good footballer. IMO he is over rated, and due to being over rated the commentators have an orgasm whenever he gets near the ball. As a result, he receives rewards and BOG medals that most other people agree should not be awarded to him. Being in the top three players on the ground, does not mean you should get best on ground, or LRT and Fosdike would have Norm Smith's.

But a player can't dominate in every quarter.

Carr's possessions by quarter were:
4, 5, 5, 12

Judd's were:
14, 9, 4, 6

Sometimes the best player is the guy who keeps the team in the game early or sets up a win early. It's not like Judd did nothing in the last quarter.

Also, the point you've also been trying to make GS14 is that his disposal is terrible and he doesn't do very much that's different to anyone else, which is simply wrong.
