    Should Brisbane Lions rename while holding wooden spoon?

    With the Brisbane Lions on the bottom of the ladder, I thought it was time we started a campaign to bring back the Fitzroy name for old times sake.

    Should the Brisbane Lions be called Fitzroy whenever they hold the wooden spoon?

      You know the world is crazy when
      -the Lions are at the bottom of the ladder (yet still get 10000 than the Broncos)
      -Mal Michael is playing at Full Forward
      -Michael Voss spends more time on the bench than on the field
      -The player most likely to get the ball for the Lions is a Swans cast-off
      -Akamanis goes from a match-winner to the worst player on the field
      -Leigh Matthews' head goes from grey to bald in the space of 6 weeks!


      We seriously coasted all day. The Lions were WOEFUL yesterday. They are a complete shell of their former selves. Lethal has to send a fair few of his former champion players out to stud farm & fast. As the young Lions' 'up & comers' (ie Brennan) are back in the QAFL & are not coming through.

          I thought Brisbane Bears again may be more appropriate.
