    It was 28 degrees yesterday. I was as prepared as I could be, yet my t-shirt was still saturated by the end of proceedings.

    Still Brisbane is my favourite away trip by miles. The Gabba is the best ground in footy too I reckon.

      And I thought it was just a cliche that Sydney is always cold and wet!

        I don't want to quibble, but there's one small factual error in the article:
        This latest win improved the Swans' win-loss record against the Lions to 14-19, including 4-7 at the Gabba.
        The Swans have only played the Brisbane Lions 17 times for an 8-9 record (4-4 at the Gabba). Before the merger with Fitzroy, the side from Brisbane were known as the Bears.

            it was a bloody hot 28 degrees, i can tell ya! its the same here today. sun has a real bite to it.

            like JF, i ran to the back of the grandstand at all breaks to cool down. i think most of that end of the field did too.
