    Where should Kennelly play?

As already discussed, Kennelly is one of our most important players. Over the last year many have called for him to move to the midfield or even the wing where he can use his pace and skill to the betterment of our forwards. At the same time, there is a risk that such a move will erode our run off half back (where it is needed more) and the team will not have the benefit of Tadgh's defensive capabilities.

    What are your thoughts?

    Where should he play?

Keep him where he is now. He's our quarterback per se' when he's up and going. Sorta like Luke Hodge is to the Hawks.

Right where he is, for another season at least....then , if we can afford it, into the midfield.

I agree with the above - given our performances this season without him, Tadhg has to stay where he is and just keep doing exactly what he's been doing!!

I used to be one of the people calling for his move mid field, just so we could use his pace to get the ball in forward very quickly. My view has changed and I think he is needed where he is to both defend and provide a quick rebound out of def 50.

I still believe we'd get more from him on the wing.

Problem with him in defence IMO, is that his defensive skills are not the best and smart coaches take him out of the game by dragging him back to the goal square.

On the wing, he can still wander back to the half back line, but no need to go further back.

                  Leave him on the HBF...

At least he knows when to run and can deliver the ball to the forwards

I merely hope that he continues to play in Australia.

True, and that would be a perfect time to move him to the wing (after being drag to the square).

I reckon raw pace is more important coming out of defence than in the middle of the ground.

                          Leave him where he is.

Raw pace is little use if he's stuck in the goal square.

Dempster can take his HBF spot, Kennelly can be on the wing..Yay no Mathews.
