Pretty poor coaching by Clarkson in my opinion. Roos has moved leaper several times if it looks like he is getting a towelling.
Barry Hall is 104kg and Dawson is 80kg, I think Baz would give him a lesson, 10 goals plus.Comment

I would love to see Baz play on Dawson. But I fear that Clarkson may finally have learnt his lesson by Rd9, and even if he starts him on Baz, after 2/3 goals, he will make the move.

The sheer volume of media comment dedicated to Nathan Thompson last week and then Zac Dawson this week is out of proportion. Nathan shut them up this week and I hope Zac does as well.

Clarkson is starting to dig a very big grave for himself by using Dawson as a sacrificial lamb. The criticism I heard was more of him for not moving him, and from Hawthorn fans for "losing the game" for the sake of Zac's development.Originally posted by Zlatorog

Clarkson sounds like a genuine goose by trotting out the same line about developing him through flogging. It's a bit like throwing the christians to the lions and saying "I dont hate christians I just want to toughen them up".
The comments from a couple that I heard was that Zac is not playing the full back's role correctly by playing 10-20 metres in front of him. ie. who in the hell is coaching him.Comment
