RE-COUNT!!!!Some people say Football is a matter of life and death - I say it's a lot more important than that!

People say LRT was best on ground, when he had a big first quarter (10 possessions?) and didn't do a huge amount after that, yet say that Judd didn't deserve it because his effectiveness was not as high in the second half.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

LRT was a standout in the first half but had a quiet (not bad) game after that.
Buchanan was BOG in the final quarter.
Fosdike was consistent over four quarters."As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk

All considered, probably line ball between Fosdike and Monty. I went the latter. It's very hard to live in a studio apartment in San Jose with a man who's learning to play violin. That's what she told the police when she handed them the empty revolver.

Monty deserved it for the sheer influence on the outcome of the 2005 Flag.
Judd was good, but his efforts were not good enough to get his team over the line.
Monty was good, his efforts did, including the clutch goal, several spoils, vital tackles and several inside 50s that were slaughtered by Mick. The Pain of Discipline is Nothing Like The Pain of DisappointmentComment

I voted Buchanan, but its wonderful to know that Fossie can really turn in top performances in the big games. He may not have completely lived up to his high draft pick potential, but it looks like he'll be very serviceable for us for many years.
I've come to like his game more and more, though earlier in his career I was calling for his head. He seems to be one of those quiet ones who no one really talks about on RWO, which is probably a good thing!Comment

LRT still has more votes than Fossie - why on earth do fans of other teams still say Swans supporters are football ignorant?Comment

Both major contributors. I gather that you consider the Norm Smith voting and expert opinion on the day was also by the football ignorant?Does God believe in Atheists?Comment

Fossie showed the workrate he is capable of & there's a level of disappointment that he doesn't do it more consistently from week to week. In other words, he played to a level we know he's capable of but rarely achieves.
LRT played a much greater hand than we expected (or could ever really have hoped for). He was rarely beaten in a contest & no major fups with his disposals & even created some movements rather than just reacted. In other words, he played well above himself (and above most expectations).
So overall, Fossie may have been a greater contributor - but the perception is LRT had the blinder.Comment
