I feel the need to vent.....

I hate Collingwood, but luckily they always start well and fall off terrible of late.

I still call the Bulldogs the Dirty dogs, and would love to see Liberatore kicked in the nuts

And I still hold a grudge against Gary Lyon for his comments that Melbourne "played down to the level" of Sydney when we broke a large losing streak to topple them at the MCG amny years ago.

But the most disgusting thing I've seen in a long time is the size of the 'maxi' bons in the 6 pack in the supermarket.
Please tell me that they are the old size when you buy them individually.....

    Have you considered therapy?

But it will always be Footscray, Kangaroos will always be "North"

Was sad to find that the Fox & Hounds pub in Flinders st was demolished. Had far too many boozy nights there, but they were such good times!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

I will be recieving therapy on Mothers Day.
My fiance's grandmother will be coming over, as well as my mum.
I'll recieve some instruction from my therapist, Pierre Smirnoff, to make it through ok.

But for christs sake, have you seen how small the maxi bons are now?

        1) Yes, I too still cannot stand the Bulldogs, primarily because of Liberatore. Lots of people seem to be supporting their progress, because of the long drought since its last premiership, being underdogs, crappy membership numbers etc.

But it'll be a while longer before I can barrack for them to win a game (unless it's against the Kangaroos perhaps - I still remember Carey too).

        2) What is a Maxi Bon? Is that an icecream?

Maxibon is half ice-cream sandwich (Monaco Bar) and half ice-cream (like a Magnum), and yes they've gotten smaller.

Thanks. I thought it rang a bell. I seem to remember eating these regularly for a while many years ago. Quite nice.

The solution is simple - if you don't like the way they've been "downsized", don't buy them. Especially if they are charging the same price as before. Let them know that you are aware of the deception, and that you will not buy the product again until they restore them to their proper size.

Wouldn't it be easier just to staple two together?

buy some Malt-o-Milks (if they still make them) and slap some icecream between two, and you are set. You could be really adventurous and try chocolate icecream in the middle instead of vanilla. Don't use Neopolitan because it would only confuse you more.

                          Good idea,

I was thinking about protesting outside the manufaturers plant, but only because protests produce such quick and decisive results

Actually, I emailed Froot Loops and comlained the the US had blue Froot Loops for over a year, and we still didn't
3 months later they were on the shelves.
                          Coincidence? I am doubting that!

But then I emailed Cottee's (twice) to beg for Pineapple Topping to come back.
The first time the emailed back and politely said they had no plans for that, the second one of the office irls rang, and she said she'd see what she could do.

Also, Subway just didn't reply when I emailed telling them off for replacing pineapple with some green crap.
                          @@@@@s.

When I'm bored I sometimes just sit and fire off emails to people who piss me off.

The AFL and their stupid broadcast rights where we in Melbourne used to go with NO coverage at all of Swans games at times (unless we had pay tv) etc

And pineapple really is the food of the gods......

I wish they'd make egg flip Big M's again.

You could never get them in Sydney for years and they finally made it here (Coles at Randwick about 7yrs ago) but now seem to be lost forever...

Sydney was always way behind Melbourne when it came to flavoured milk. It was always chocolate, strawberry and iced coffee in Sydney; wheras in Melbourne you could also get choc-orange, lime, egg flip, banana and blueberry to mention just a few.

Ah, the halceon days of flavoured milk.

Now I just have esspresso Dare.

BTW are you sure the Maxibons are getting smaller or are you getting bigger?

I always seem to recall Wagon Wheels being the size of a DVD (disc that is, not the player) when I was a kid but they seem more like the size of a can of soup (in diameter, not in height) these days.

The quality of chocolate has dropped. Most chocoale bars taste like compund choclate.

The old days when a picnic was huge and tasted like real choclate or kit kats didnt come in big horrible chunky sizes.

I really enjoy it when you go to the footy and buy 2 pies 2 drinks and a bucket of soggy chips and you give the guy 20 bucks and he returns the favour with 10 cents change. Why do we have to keep paying premium prices for crap food? Why can't this be regulated?
