Learnt all about chocolate at the Cadbury factory a few weeks ago.
They explained why cheap chocolate is crap and what it's missing.

Flavored milk should have more variety.

    Lime, Blueberry come to mind.

On a side note, I wonder how many of the 260 people who have opened this thread so far have been dissappointed by what is contained?

And how many forgot what I was sooking about and opened it again, and got re-dissappointed?

    haha

Fear not, a Maxibon is still as huge as they have always been when bought at 4am whilst staggering home from a rather large night of treating one's body like an experiment. Avoid the 6 pack supermarket trap, it also works like that with Weiss bars and Magnums.

I understand how you felt when you pulled that first one out of the box. It trancends rage.

I hate it with toilet rolls. They haven't gone up in price for many years, but each year the number of sheets on them gets fewer and fewer. Have a look, they used to have 500 sheets in them, now they have 250 if you are lucky. I think it's a price fixing conspiracy.

I used to love blueberry Big M, but they stopped making them when I was a teenager, and that's over 20 years ago.

I agree with Dave, that wagon wheels are more like scooter wheels these days.

Wagons wheels are no longer made by Westons - Arnotts own them now - they said they bought the machinery from Westons to be able to maintain he exact same product - obviously the thing shrank once money changed hands because the "wheels" are nowhere as big as they used to be.

Also Arnotts make their own chocolate hence the different flavour.

why do they tamper with perfection?
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

It's the trade off for softness I reckon.

The high end sheets are about twice as thick as the budget ones but the final roll size is the same, so that's the trick I reckon.

That stuff they used to have in public loos was the worst - it was like using small sheets of greaseproof paper. And you could only grab one sheet at a time!

While we're at it - the new Le Snack cheese portion has a rounded off tub so although you can now get all the cheese out, you have less cheese! If I ever run into Uncle Toby I'll king hit the b***tard!

Pyrmont Bridge Road was a great drive for a while. Coming on from Parramatta, if Malt Shovel was mashing it was.......mmmmmmmmmmm beeerrrrr. Then five seconds later past the Westons Factory...... bbbiiikkkkiiieeessss.

Thankfully the brewery is still there but the mover inners managed to boot the bikkie factory out of there.

Worse still was the time I failed to notice the lack of paper in the loo and had to use old ATM receipts from my wallet. Thanks, Port Wakefield, you rock.

Are we talking about the individually wrapped Wagon Wheels or the ones that are bought in a packet of six or eight? The multi-packs have MUCH smaller WW's but you can still buy reasonable-sized ones individually.

BTW, you all sound like old "Back-in-my-day-I-used-to-walk-30-miles-to-school-in-the-driving-snow-barefoot" fogies, but I can sympathise to some extent.
