Now that the site is back, I might as well start a thread.
I must say that I enjoyed the Saints getting up over Carlton. Hopefully Fremantle can now finish off their season. While I suppose many people will be lauding the effort of Carlton, for getting close with so many players out, I have a bit of a different view. That is, if they can field a competitive side with such a long injury list, then that to me is a demonstration of how badly they might be rorting the salary cap.
Though if they are knocked out, then the Victorian AFL media might go all in on the fairytale Hawks. Which is a prospect that doesn't appeal to me at all: even if I do sorta admire the job that Sam Mitchell has done.
