Well, we did.....but yeah, it would have been nice to kick more in the last and win really big......but it matters little. We're there and all that counts.

AFL site suggesting Rampe could come under scrutiny for the elbow on Butters in the first quarter. What do the commentators say? Looked innocuous live and no injury suffered.

Nothing. It was rightly a free, and a fine at worst.

Tonight wasn’t brilliant, it was clinical. The talls were fantastic tonight at both ends of the ground.

The bloke whose game I loved was Hayward. Just relentless.

I suspect Heeney will pick up another 10 votes in the Ayres medal, but everyone played well. The tall forwards were all effective. Our defence was right on top. Our ball movement was often too classy to stop.

Looking forward to the next game.

Cheers. Agree with all of the above. Amartey played one of his best games. Perhaps buoyed by kicking the winner last week. But Logan and Hayden also strong contributors. Defence was excellent. Hayward won every contest he contested and 2-3 HTB frees.

Florent was also excellent. Chad's moments of brilliance gave us an air of impregnability. Errol kept us ticking and Rowbottom was hard all night.

It was consumate. We should feel that it's our time next week.

                  Absolutely Heeney gets another 10.

if I had to give votes from there, Ollie, Chad, Blakey and Gulden - with apologies to Wilbur.

Also good to see McInerney get into the flow of the game.

Was an amazing result! Huge effort by everyone.

Grundy got manhandled and had the rough end of a lot of umpire calls, but he toiled and toiled. Amartey presented for four quarters. Heeney and Warner were awesome!

So happy right now, just hope McDonald pulls up alright.

For the Power, that JHF is a seriously good player at only 21 years of age. I wouldn't swap Heeney,, Warner or Gulden for him, but he is going to be a superstar player.

Watching the Hinkley interview, very gracious and acknowledged our polish etc.

Any thoughts on Fox's game? One kick, two handballs, no tackles, 14m gained and really quite ineffective. I totally agreed with his selection for this game but in the event that Mills doesn't get up....any chance for Adams? He is an experienced hard nut and would surely grab his chance.

The game was over when he came on.

Agree with the kudos mentioned so far. Aliir had an influential first quarter but Parker moved onto him and played the decoy forward pretty well for quarters 2 and 3. His stats won’t show his influence but I thought he played a real selfless role

A terrific all round team effort. McInerney made a hell of a difference with his speed to space. I thought McLean was very good in the second half. Ollie's 3rd quarter was excellent and I believe Harry C did a great job on Rioli and for most of the game Jordan did the job on JHF. One thing I don't get is why Grundy gets so many frees against, when so often he is held and gets nought. A shout out to Melican who had a really solid game.

What a magnificent effort..really even performance across the team, and just what we needed from the big guys up forward.

Now to finish the job next weekend - it will be the Mrs first grand final live, so hoping she can bring us some luck!

Hope the Lions can get the win, would love an interstate Grand Final.

Also 50 free kicks tonight. Just crazy - we want the players to decide it, not the umpires being in every moment.
