    Fossie: The Unsung Hero

Not sure if it's been mentioned at all recently, but I think due credit should be given to Fossie.

He's the unsung hero of the GF, and has been playing awesomely with a quick run, fast hands and all over the ground.

Kicked 2 in the Port game too.. (probably carrying our other forwards that game though..)

Honestly would rate him up with Goodesy in terms of run up and down the ground.

So glad that he not just stayed here @ the Swans after injury, but has played BETTER ever since.

He's definitely carried over that confidence into this season. His disposal has improved and I've hardly seen many mongrel punts from him this year.

He's on a fair amount of dough and it's about bloody time.

I have a theory about Fozzie

He tends to play better on the bigger grounds

      Subi, MCG, Gabba

He needs the extra space to run

I'll stick my neck out and say he will be one of our best on those grounds

Well he was an absolute star in the corresponding game last year against Richmond, so let's hope he can repeat the dose today.

yep, he does seem to enjoy the bigger grounds. I think he stole 3 votes off Goodesy in round 22, 2003 @ MCG (vs demons)

He will be a very serviceable player for us for many years.

I thought he was outstanding today. If not B.O.G. then in the top three.

Best player at getting rid of it in close - plus his foot passing at times.. was very good today.

He has improved out of sight in the last 12 months.

                            Good stuff Fossie.

Fosdike, Buchanan and Schneider have really stepped up in the midfield. So it is not now just J Bolton, Kirk and Willo.

Schneider gets me. I had genuine doubts about his ability to play midfield but he gets better by the week.

Both he and Buchanan are very dangerous when they change off the HFF.
