Can we use the ball well enough to win and keep the pressure up for another 2 quarters ? cant question our effort. interesting our developing players haven't really said boo today which is disappointing

If we could frigging kick straight we'd be 8 goals up.

Doesn't really feel like either side wants to win with the kicking for goal. I think we've in general played okay, but skill errors, and a lack of pressure has not been helping at times. But hopefully we can come home over the top and get the win, as we really need it for our confidence.

Time for Sheldrick to be subbed in? For one of the talls for a bit more run?

Hope they play with more run and dare in the last quarter.

its funny none of our players seem to be able to put 4 quarters together they all seem to be moment players - we need a few who can rack up big numbers and play all game I guess thats Mills and Gulden

2 different sets of rules out there for incorrect disposal/holding the ball. We seem to need to lay a successful tackle 5 times before they'll pay, like just then.

Our kicking for goal on the run today has been utterly deplorable.

I was wondering where our next goal was coming from. I didn't really think that it would be Bice.

Bloody good effort in the end. Ladhams looked a far better option in the ruck than Grundy, and Riley Bice! We’ve found one there.

I will take that. Especially delicious when they marked that last kick 2 seconds after the siren went. We battled hard today - lack cohesiveness, lacked polish, awful kicking for goal, but we found a way to win, which is all that mattered. Something to build on after the bye, in what will be a very tough test against North. I thought Rowy, Ladhams, Roberts were good. Chad had plenty of moments, but again a few wasteful ones. Papley more involved, Bice continuing to show a lot, Hamling not bad, and Tommy looking much more comfortable down back.

Plenty of goal kicking practice needed, but a win is a win and its a starting point.

They were simply making it all up across the rest of the game, so would not have surprised me at all. I do think a couple of our blokes pulled out contesting it when the siren went however.

Stole it. Deserved it after the 1st 2 games

Happy Ladhams played well, Bice stepped up late
