I'm Tadhg... no hang on... I'm Spartacus...

The less pressure the Tiger is under, the more time he has to let his mind settle down, the more likely he is to make the right decision, no matter which way he choses to go.

It's not the end of the world for Sydney if Tiger leaves and nothing we can do to stop him.

Quietly I hope he stays with the club and city that loves him so much and finishes his career here.

He will indeed have the best of both worlds to see his Irish family and friends a couple of months a year and play out a very satisfying career playing the greatest game on earth at the highest level.

I think he would really regret it later on if he was to go home too soon ie before his career is finished here. He cannot change anything by being there and if he was bored or not fulfilled at home he may become resentful. His family knows he loves and supports them and they will survive without him being physically present. He is after all only a phone call or a day's flight away. Also, he may have trouble settling down anyway when he goes back - he has been away and living a very different life for quite a few years - and to settle down with the added pressure of wondering if he did the right thing would make it even more difficult. But I think someone's earlier suggestion that he decide at the end of the season is the best idea.

There's a few who have said that now we have a Premiership there's not a lot for him to acheive.

I reckon being part of dynasty would be a reasonable carrot. 3 in a row would go OK.

Unfortunately, the carrot is already in use here.

part of negotiation for higher $ contract?

I wouldn't be surprised this is part of his $negotiation.
To me, the longer this drags on, the more it appears to be so.

he has got his own life to live. Swans offer him the best financial returns to help anyone he likes.

No player is indispensable to any club!

I remember Shannon Grant's family doing that (althought it was Melbourne to Sydney rather than Ireland to Sydney), and his mum liked it so much up here that when he left, she stayed! lol!
