its not till you see this team on paper in front of you do you really realise how bad it is. I am not fully sure what Cox and Co are hoping to achieve or what goals they have for the remainder of the season. Just hope we find a way to eek out a win.....

Who would you have in who is not currently injured. No one in the twos warrants a game? I’d bring Ollie back but other than that, the cupboard is bare.

Would prefer Ollie over any of Corey, Adams and Lloyd

Cunninham in, a great servant of the club but will not be in next premiership team ,ollie a better bet. Francis also will not be in next team gotta try Snell and edwardes when available and Buller now as second ruck move McLean to chf.

This team has the most players with single-digit numbers this year. Only 6 (McDonald) is missing.

Stop moving players around now that we nearly full team back. Play a consistent last years approach for moving the ball forward. Take risks, Go fast on kicks, we have excellent kicking potential- utilise it. But we are going to be good only if we are fast and the opposition is not set. Give Blakey and Bice the freedom to move the ball and cut though the opposition.
keep Heeney and Warner in front half of the ground. And McInerney, Mills, sheldrick and Braeden to be given the keys to the midfield ball movement.
We need to go after a small forward who can really be a game changer. Not sure how good dattoli is but we are really struggling with recruitment of the pressure small forwards. But now persevere with Hanily. And get Dattoli some games later in the year.

but the key will be to create the DNA to defend in the next few weeks so that we are ready next year

Great to see Millsy and the Cunning Ham back in the team

good opportunity to bring serious heat and pressure this weekend and build from there

it has been a rugged year with key highly efficient players missing..............but we need a win vs the Tigers

I reckon all this is valid, but with Blakey and Bice, not sure it's exclusively their fault. Watching our games, I reckon we're failing to spread well - whether that's the extra metre at the contest for one or two players to be used for release, rather than have six get sucked in; or over the field in general play, when we're playing in tight lanes, rather than use space on the fat side much, or use the fact players are spreading to create pockets of space in the corridor. It's a function of a lack of cohesion and confidence that hurts both sides of the ball (ie: sides also get 'outside' of us given we're all drawn too tight to the play and the ball.)

One to watch for the weekend.
