You are correct wolftone about fan being an American term but according to Google AI Overview (ha ha) the traditional term for an AFL supporter is a 'barracker' because one barracks for a certain team....but that sounds a bit awkward, so while I do barrack for the Swans, I prefer yes, Swans supporter.
