Goodes, has stepped up another gear and is easily my favourite player to watch again. Just in awesome form.

Are you sure they sent the right Fossie back after injury last year? The old one qualified for all the things people here say about Ben. The new one came back firing, faded a bit and has been exceptional since the Grand Final. Every time he gets the ball he looks dangerous.

He's hitting targets regularly this year. One reason is he kicking through the ball better, rather than pulling the kick and try to guide it.

I agree that Fosdike can get under the radar of such a discussion.
Just great to see him so consistent ... still perhaps suffers from not looking spectacular & doing things that are basically workmanlike than esciting.
Buchanan & Schneider great...LRT still a mad mixture but we are better with him than without on balance.

                Ted Richards.

He's played every game. Sheeds could have used him on Fevvy yesterday.

Teddy must be feeling really pleased with himself. Imagine the smirk after watching the bummers go down to the spooners.

IMO the Richards buy is far from a proven winner...moderate performance against mostly ordinary opposition so far. How would we know if he had improved? Honest but an average performer IMO. The jury is still out.

Buchanan and Schneider have improved a lot. So has Nick Malceski. Paul Chambers has been improving since Round 1 too.

For goodness sakes, it's round 7 & we were barely present for the first 3 rounds. The only bloke who's come close to being decent to date has been Jude Bolton - most improved can wait till the 2nd half of the year when we've proved we're here to stay in 2006.

Fossie's delivery into the forward line on Saturday was outstanding ... if you get to catch a replay, check out the 3 or 4 low spearing passes to our forwards that gave the Tigers defenders absolutely no chance of spoiling. He is such a different footballer to the guy we slagged in early '05.

                          As to most improved:

                          1. Schneids
                          2. Malceski
                          3. LRT

I agree, it was outstanding, albeit with no or little pressure. It's Fossie's delivery and decision making when under pressure that has drawn criticism previously.

It looked pretty good in the GF.

129 posts in a year & that's the best you can come up with? I'll assume you're hoarding your best stuff so you can win Most Improved poster at the end of the year.
