    Shake down the Thunder

Did anyone else watch the first part of thr documentary on channel 7 last night.
    Shake down the Thunder. Brilliant.
An in depth look at the build up and eventually winning of the 2005 Grand Final.

Yes, I did (recorded it). High production values and very absorbing. Must see for all Swans fans.

P.S. I was at that St Kilda game at Marvel in 2005 when we got smashed, and it is so remarkable looking back how we recovered to go on and win the flag (running over the Saints in the PF at the G).

Sorry Dooloo, at this stage i have no idea when part 2 will be scheduled.
I recorded part 1 last night via my Foxtel IQ and set it to record the series (4 parts). I checked the Scheduler menu, but there is no listing when part 2 is scheduled as yet (part 1 was on Ch 7 last night and not sure whether the remaining might be shown on one of their other stations?). I checked the Foxtel TV guide and part 2 ISN'T listed to be aired after Unfiltered next Wednesday, as part 1 was last night.

For those who, like me, missed the program, it's available on 7+.

The late Robert Walls said after that Marvel game something like the Swans would never win a Premiership with that team. When he was reminded of that after the Grand Final by commentator Stephen Quartermain, Walls tried to take credit for our win by saying the Swans had changed their game style after his comment. Paul Roos said we didn't change a thing!

I know I'm in the minority on this site but I detest St.Kilda and knocking them out of the premiership race in 2005 when they thought all they had to do was turn up to knock us off was ALMOST as good as winning the flag!

          GO BLOODS!!

Was that Walls? I thought it was Demitripoo. Maybe they both said it.

Both of them had a crack at us. There's a paragraph about Walls' comments on his Wikipedia page. He actually said the Swans would never win a premiership while Roos was coach. Apparently, Walls offered Roosy an apology at the end of the year - it wasn't accepted.

I have binge watched to the fourth - strange it said series 1 - does that mean there is more? . Say to 2012 ?
Thank heavens they took a bit of time about “the Stenglein” decision in the first Qualifying Final against the Eagles that cost us the game and caused more angst for Roos and the players. The Eagles might not have made the finals having to play away rather than to sit easy on a cushy home Prelim final. I was at that game and the Eagles around me were totally depressed. They were not going to win. I still have heated arguments with Eagles fans about it.
How good is Nick Davis in this series ?
