Team List Team Selection: Round 20 v GWS

Papley and Adams are a test to return this week. I wouldn't risk Adams back into the seniors first up. Interestingly, Logan is now listed to be suddenly available in 1-2,weeks! Tom Mac will miss another week.

GWS have Hogan, Kelly and Taylor as tests to return this week. They are 3 big ins for them if they all pass.

Taking this into account, my changes for GWS matchup:

IN: Papley, Francis
Out: Roberts, Ladhams.
Sub: Bice.

Roberts would be unlucky to miss even though i thought he was a bit down last week. Wouldn't surprise me if he keeps his spot instead of Bice.

After reading VFL reports, Snell might be an option down back instead of Francis, but it might be too much baptism of fire for him to debut and take on lthe likes of Hogan/Cadman.

Either Cleary or Co Warner may come under consideration to replace Bice as Sub or if Papley doesn’t pass test. I got impression Florent didn't have a strong game to push for recall?

So we have some options/decisions with selection this week, which i rarely get right anyhow!

Imagine if Papley come back in, it'd be for Ladhams, with Bice sub. I doubt they'd bring Fox back after 3/4 of a VFL game, but with another game under his belt, he'll be challenging Bice's spot.

The unusual selection of Ladhams as sub last week kind of masked the fact we went from 3 tall forwards to 2 tall forwards. If we were to go back to 3 talls, Francis should come back in (he had an okay VFL game).

If Papley is deemed ready to play seniors, one of Roberts/Bice wlil drop out completely and I imagine the other will be the sub. McInerney and Gulden to play more as wings than they did against North

No thanks Francis Fwd, play Ladhams and leave McLean and Buller fwd.

He isnt a fwd, play him as Defensive cover and leave Hamling in Defense, let Buller keep Taylor busy.

Maybe we should be making a bid for Alex Tauru at the end of 2016. In the meantime maybe his mate Wanganeen-Milera for next year. W-M hasn't signed yet.
