My feeling is that the AFL will not allow the Bulldogs to sell a game to anyone but Sydney.

The deal obviously suits the Swans, we must be making more than the $250,000 we pay for it, we don't have to travel as often, and the AFL get one extra game in the city they are desperate to make inroads in.

As for the Bulldogs, the AFL is basically their major sponsor, so I imagine they will listen very carefully to any 'advice' given.

One option obviously will be if North sell their games to the Gold Coast instead of Canberra - the Bulldogs may be given the green light to sell this game to Canberra with us as the travelling side. They would be guaranteed a crowd and the AFL would maintain a presence in the capital.
