[QUOTE=Nico;n1252067]I think we found our CHB....Jack Buller. When the other 2 come back he will slot into CHB. Why? He is very mobile and reads the play well, and he is a very good mark. He will only get better. [/
    Has some merit I reckon

My positive takeaways from the game:

      Team responding to Cox's bake.

Team feeling flat post game when reflecting on the year, but burning to rebound next year. Cox stating in his post game presser, that high standards will be expected of them next year.

Extra break will hopefully refresh them injury wise. Errol conceding his ankle is still not 100% and will be stronger for next year. Papley finishing strongly to have good preseason.

Jack Buller's continual improvement after only handful of games. Has potential high ceiling as KPF and i don’t subscribe to him being perhaps limited. Mature developer.

Co Warner making most of his recall to hopefully take next step as regular in the best 22, along with Sheldrick.

Finishing season on positive ledger. 12 wins 11 losses.

I have felt for some time that he has a beef with the Swans that tends to taint his commentary in our games. I find him more irritating than most other callers (Luke Darcy was always notably horrible too).

Very pleasing to bounce after the Cox Bake.
Would have been pretty depressing to lose to the bottom
            feeder.
Not familiar w such a long break, will have more time
for bike tours, restoring vintage furniture and attending
            to her indoors (the list).
Hope more contributors return next yr.
Is Ludwig Ok , what happened to Annie, SMEG ?
Supporting The Crows now to go all the way.
Loved watchin Isaac, Grundy, Warner Bros, Tom , Lizard,
Errol, Braeden, Rowie, Jack , Wilbur et all

Couldn’t handle Dawson holding up the cup after we made him the footballer he is today.

Ludwig is just fine. He is optimistic for next year. I spent the last 2 weekends staying at his place in Mae Taeng on the outskirts of Chiang Mai.

Paps' best game of the season, and notable that he said after the game that he's just starting to feel it. Mills and Gulden are also looking the best they have all season.

i know it was zero stakes and low intensity, but enjoyed seeing the guys enjoy themselves and play well together in the second half.
Good comment, and what did they all have in common. None, along with a number of others, were able to do a preseason. Can’t wait to see Logan next year, along with a number of other players. One telling comment from Erol after the game when he said he can’t wait to get off anti inflammatory’s.
There is a lot of upside to look forward to providing we get a reasonable run with injuries

I think the problem is that the Fox are taking the vision from Channel 7, and the commentary team are making the call from a Fox studio in Melbourne, and you get the feeling that by not being there they cannot pick up the atmosphere of the game, and are forced to talk a lot of drivel

I agree. I can tolerate disloyalty but not deceit. His departure was too much like a messy divorce for my liking. I can think up a few other words starting with "d" as well to describe these events.

He's got a new nickname as far as I'm concerned: "Booooooooooooo!"

Certainly understand your feelings. Players leave clubs for all sorts of reasons but the way Dawson conducted his departure from us was extremely disrespectful to the club and we supporters. I'm a bit conflicted about potting Adelaide, though, as I always liked Matthew Nicks when he was with us and he must have put up with lots of grief from Adelaide supporters when the Crows were battling.

Go Suns today....and if they make it as they should, I'll be going for them to win the flag. As this is unlikely, then it's Brisbane or Freo.

The rest can get stuffed, especially Dawson.

If the Crows do win the flag they should get Dawson's missus to hold up the cup. Reading between the lines from what Kinear Beatson has said, the Covid lockdowns and Mrs Dawson missing home dragged Dawson out the door. (I still can't believe the Swans let him go, surely a new girlfriend would have been easier for them to find compared to a gun midfielder needed to replace him!)

Was he a midfielder at Sydney ?
