When does training resume? Any Sydneysiders getting along for a look? Match sims will be interesting from now

Don't know, but the cricket coverage just showed Dean Cox looking very relaxed: tie well loosened, reclining in his chair and chatting away with a glass of wine in his hand. So I'm guessing that he might have at least tomorrow off?

Aerial view this morning during the test match showed us having a match sim next to the SCG. Is that called Tramway Oval?

I'm interested to find out if Mills has recovered sufficiently from his hammy injury to resume pre-season training proper? He we was originally listed as missing the remainder of the pre Christmas training when he first sustained the injury. i'm hoping he gets a good pre-season under his belt.

Same with Adams (Achilies), even though i think he'll struggle to get a game with the younger players coming on, but he does provides depth and experience to our VFL team. Would like to see him finish his career on a positive note, even though some may see him as a list clogger. Like Mills, hasn't had the luck with injuries last 2 seasons.

I'm sure he'll be happy to have this shared - from Callipygian on BF who watched an hour of training this morning - "Adams, Cootee, Andrew and Hanily were all doing stuff on the sidelines. Don't know if I just didn't spot him but I didn't see Mills at all"

Tom Harley was there on holidays just catching up with people, including Longmire. Class act is Tom.

You make a good point KSAS about the value of Adams adding experience to the VFL team. It was obvious toward the end of last season the difference a few experienced players made to the VFL team and they went on to win a few games late in the season.
The addition of Curnow, Serong, Rosa and Coogee will also help the overall depth

Riak turns 21yrs old next month and I remember our recruitment being very bullish about his potential for the club.

Was pleased seeing Callum Mills in the photo gallery from Monday's training session (12th Jan) on the club's website.

Hope this means he is over the hammy strain he'd sustained before Christmas.

it appears they had a match sim. Interesting to see if players were tried in new positions/roles.

March 5th Opening Round is not far away, so it's a shorter preseason. The SOO game in Perth is only a month away, with Chad playiing and Cox as WA coach. Don’t think there's any other Swan involvement?

Seriously needs to add muscle his inability to defend and stick tackles really hurts him, but can’t see why he can’t improve another level and if he doesn’t he’s a proven quality VFL player who can help develop the draft crop
