Well, to me the joke is the fact that he copped a 5 match suspension on July 23rd and it won't end until April 17th. In the meantime, our AFL side will have played 10 matches.

Mills was quoted on the AFL site, talking up the prospect of the Allies being part of state of origin.

Seems fair enough to me. If it's to continue, I don't think anyone really wants it to be just Vic v WA. So, it's quite easy to envisage next year being something like Vic v SA on a Friday night, then WA v Allies on Saturday night. Then rotating the year after, to WA v SA and Vic v Allies, and so on.

We've picked another strong team for tomorrow's practice match v GWS at Henson Park 4:10pm. Papley & McInnery have been selected.Thought we might've rested a few for next week.

Yes, I'm also a bit surprised that we seem to have picked the strongest possible side. Perhaps the plan is to go through the season undefeated?

Hello everybody- I am so glad the season is beginning and that I get to hobnob with all the cool Swans supporters here....Is the game tomorrow night worth going to if I arrive around 3.45pm or will it just be completely crowded? I want to go directly from work and was wondering if anybody has been to Henson Park lately? I haven't been there since Newtown played in the Rugby league and I was a kid.

So, we know as much about an injury to Lloyd as we do about Dattoli. I love our club and get they don’t want to give away everything, but gee whiz they’re tight as a fish bum with injury info.

I'm not in Sydney, so I don't really know, but there's supposed to be plenty of rain tomorrow. So, my guess is that it won't be very crowded on the muddy hills, but it will be very crowded in the small grandstand.

assume llyd and datoli both injured now news on how long for. Ditto foradams cootee and hamily. all not naemed in either snrs or reserves. Not sure why the swans are reluctant to pot an up to date injury list.

In the club's podcast interview with Tom Papley, he mentioned Dattoli had picked up a foot injury late in the pre-season but didn't elaborate any further.
