Horrendous umpiring in that quarter, and we are lucky the Hawks didn't take advantage of it on the scoreboard. We seem to need to bow towards Mecca for 10 minutes before getting a HTB call, while they can't wait to blow the whistle when its on the other foot.
Funny old game but at least its a close one so far and entertaining watch. Mills very busy, Blakey doing well, and Chad more involved than he has been. Corey Warner doing a lot right but he has absolutely burnt 3 or good chances for goals through shoddy disposals/delivery into forward 50. Want it to click for him but that element doesn't appear (on very limited evidence thus far) to have improved much. Really struggling to get our talls into the game so far.
Could easily be 4 or 5 goals down at half time, so hopefully we can reset and come out firing."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

Both the frees against Grundy in the centre square for crossing the line at the throw up were because the umpire didn’t throw it up straight. I mean, how freaking hard can it be.
We still miss Sam Reid’s ability to take that down the line kick on the wing when we’re struggling.Comment

They may very well win this but I think they are overrated. Away from Melbourne they will only beat WC and maybe PortComment

Yeah, so many times that quarter Hawthorn players took on the tackler, got tackled, then dropped the ball or shoved it out one handed: no free.Horrendous umpiring in that quarter, and we are lucky the Hawks didn't take advantage of it on the scoreboard. Blakey 537 metres gained that quarter. Seems a lot.Comment

How Lizard is still on the field after being thrown on his head I don't know...The umpiring is appallingly biased, reminds me of a certain grand final...Nice goal from the centre. I think if this was fairly umpired we would be winning by quite a lot...but you know- VFL will VFL.Comment
