Geez blatant htb against ginnivan there. No effort to dispose of it he was trying to hatch an egg
He ate more cheese, than time allowed

            Nothing down the line

Amartey needs to stay in the fwd 50
            Curnow run goal to wing
            Logan Goal to CHB

Put in a 2nd Ruck, the current ones are offering nothing

Last of about 25 not paid tonight. Wees and Poos have had every hand up they could tonight.

I'd see what these draftees have to offer with Lloyd and Cleary in the firing line

Yes was impossible to win tonight with the umpiring, the outs, and the short break. I'm not going to bash any of the players, they made a huge effort and just couldn't overcome all that was against them. Umpiring was shocking. I didn't watch the last quarter, the umpiring and commentary made the game unwatchable for me.

The umpiring was laughable tonight. The inconsistency ridiculous.

We clearly missed our stars on a few occasions, but that one in the last quarter where Ginnivan literally pulled the ball in and sat on in summed it up.

That’ll give Cox some things to work with. We did a fair bit right but some of the execution out of the back half was off. Probably confused by Jordon not being sent to Newcombe at any stage. And marks forward of the ball missing, though the entries weren’t great at all.

Spot on Daisi. The commentary didn’t even pretend to be unbiased. We looked good when we ran the ball, but reverting to the long kicks into the 50 were just exercises in frustration. On a positive note, Bice is coming along well and Papley has a big upside, although he’s clearly underdone at the moment.

Umpires are gutless. No consistency and they won't ever give a call against their darlings. We have the dreaded prospect this year of Umps being torn between the Wees and Poos and the Fairypuppies as to who they can bend over quicker.

Was impressed how well we held up defensively. Hawks missed some gettable goals, but equally we withstood a lot of pressure. Going forward is going to be our problem again, and our big forwards got zero decent service all night. We are going to struggle to score if we can't get decent delivery into the forward line. Heeney back helps with that, but we need more out of the midfield in terms of kicking to advantage. Without Gulden we can't afford to be so poor with our ball usage going forward, as we simply won't create as many chances week in week out without him.

A lot to like about certain aspects tonight, but it equally showed up that the depth is our key challenge. Gulden and Heeney are elite, but we got precious little out of players who currently are (in broad ranking order) somewhere like 25 and 26 on our list. Warner got plenty of the pill, but was poor disposal wise and butchered several chances, and Cleary had what - 4 touches in half the game.

Not having a go at either of them - there was a lot to like about a lot of Corey Warner's game. But if they are the top of our 'depth', then we don't have the depth needed to challenge for a flag.

Yes mcs the umps just are scared of the crowd. Should not be a factor but always is. Wish the crowd at the SCG would create a 'boo factory' like in W.A.

Corey will stay in I reckon and Cleary out - just don't understand why some people rate him. He hardly ever disposes of the ball well and doesn't seem to tackle well. I hate to 'put the boots' into a young bloke but we have to try someone else.
