Hoping Cootee, Philipou and Bowman won't be too far behind.


Potential danger game as we need to be switched on as WC will be on a high after having scoring back to back wins and will give themselves a chance.
Charlie has been under some media scrutiny, so he may want to prove a point to some of his nay sayers.

I think you are right on the changes for this week. The club must think Cunningham needs more time in the VFL to regain match fitness.
Talking to Philipou after training he feels that he needs a run in the VFL for a period to regain match fitness given he missed most of 2025 through injury, and part of the preseason this year. Expect to see him press for selection mid year.
Harry Kyle is the one to keep an eye on in the near future.

I would rather Heeney stay in Sydney and rest his hamstring a bit more than have a long flight across the country to play on a rock hard ground. That said, happy to keep the team as it was against Hawthorn, with Cleary getting sine time in the middle.
Would love to see any our younger inexperienced players put together a good body of work in the reserves to demand selection later in the season.
