On Friday night the BOG receives the Kirk-Ward medal, where it used to be just the Brett Kirk medal. Fair enough to honour former Giants player, Callan Ward. However, the Kirk Ward, sounds like the place in hospital where they send the head injury cases.😂 1Comment

A bit unexpected that Rampe is being managed. GWS have a few significant outs.
SYDNEY
In: A.Sheldrick
Out: D.Rampe (managed)
GREATER WESTERN SYDNEY
In: H.Rowston, T.McMullin, L.Aleer
Out: B.Daniels (managed), A.Cadman (concussion), S.Coniglio (concussion)

Ahhh, my mistake. I didn't read further down, where it says that his two game suspension, can be downgraded to one with an early guilty plea. *
* Mildly amusing: spell check just changed "guilty plea" to "guilty pleasure".Comment

I'm confused. All the media articles reported Ladhams copped a 2 week ban against Box Hill. The reserves have only played 1 game since (the win against Port Melb).
Did he appeal and got his suspension reduced? (haven't found that repprted anywhere). Or is he allowed play AFL but not VFL, because 2 games have elapsed in that comp?
Edit: Ignore my above post, as i saw Deja's post clarifying it all straight after i posted mine. My haste....sorry!Comment

Rampe being rested is reasonable. The Giants have Cadman out and that allows Rampe to rest without compromising the team balance too much.
Giants have two players out due to concussion and have chosen to rest Daniels.
It should be a good game, but I think the Giants' lengthy injury list is going to harm their chances.
Heeney should be a favourite to take out the Kirk-Ward medal."Unbelievable!" -- Nick Davis leaves his mark on the 2005 semi finalComment
