3 goals in the last qtr should do it. Our forward line has not kept the ball in the area defensively. I bet Cox is not happy with that.

We were pretty ordinary that quarter. But burnt some good chances too.

But thank god they burnt a shedload of them in that quarter too.

Hopefully we can run over the top of them.

Blakey really has had a 10 out of 10 game.

Record loss for GWS: they had more scoring shots but lost by 41 points.

Great game once again by Grundy. He has been immense this season. Lizard was awesome. I was worried for a bit but we composed ourselves and they kicked badly too.

The job at this time of year is to bank wins and embed the game plan. We’re doing it and kicked 100 points again despite not playing our best.

It’ll still give Cox some stuff to work on and opponents something to study, namely how easily they scored going inside 50. Their goal kicking spared us a bit, and I wonder how much we missed Rampe’s organising. A few of our exits were a bit wobbly too (that handball play where Mills put Bice under all sorts of the goal line was madness).

Blakey - 3 votes, and Juzzy not far behind. Loved that Heeney just willed himself onto the contest.

And for all the talk about Charlie, he made it to a bucket of contests and either halved or won them. The bags will come.

At the start of the year, I felt if we could get through rd7 at 4-3, we’d have done well given the number of top eight contenders we were playing. Now let’s go smash the Dogs and cement our spot at the top.

went to bed at 3/4 time, could not stand to watch our defensicve efforts. Sure we look great when attacking but u HAVe to defend and stop our opponenst from doing the ame thing, Some or our defenders or wingers need to be behind the ball to capture those times we loose control and our opponents then get the run, I will say Roberts and lloyd are our worst and can be seen in the scrambles for the ball on our ff line. They need to look back to ensure we can cut off any rebounds and not leave oppostion players alone miles from a defender.
I must also place a critizsm on Chad he seems to be going around in circles to get that clear un. One sin the third I think it was he finally kicked it into our backline but no one but Giants players were there.

They are really nailing the rapid overlap running game and drilling it through the big sticks which all involves great skill. It beats long bombing for efficiency and as a spectacle by such a huge margin and totally suits the Swans together with crashing through packs to gain possession in the first place.
i dunno who the architect is for this coaching transition but its working much more than its failing . Blakey loves initiating it or finishing it.

Long may it prosper. It’s brilliant footy.

Grundy having an amazing year - so much to admire about him. I have notice we get a lot of goals 40-60M out right in front on the run. McInerney and Warner must be designated to run here.

Oh, to have Errol back in the team. Heeney was quiet by his standards but pretty good by everyone else's. Bice improving every week.
