Benjamin Button is going to play till he’s 50.

      I wonder if he's got a son who's good at football? I don't think there's been a case of a father/son playing together?

When he retires in 2045, imagine the demand among clubs to nab him into coaching ranks. Gotta have the highest footy IQ we’ve seen. Whether he’s mad enough is the question.

They all are. Coxy is apparently a really ‘up’ personality who can find joy and a smile in anything. He’s good on tactics, great at relationships, a total and utter hard arse when required. (Ask Will Hayward about the phone call). But he’s so naturally optimistic you could kick him in the nuts and he’d slap you on the back and tell you why it was a life lesson. It’s his version of resilience. They’re weird cats, coaches.

Port leading Geelong by 25 points in the third quarter. That lead is 2 goals 13 behinds (8.14 to 6.1).

Wanna say this carefully, as we all think Paul Kelly is an all time great, a better all round player, mark and goal scorer. But the way Butters plays, all speed at the contest, physicality, relentlessness and competitiveness, is a little bit like Kel.

I’ve never seen Butters take a single high mark the way Paul Kelly did time and again.

Looks like Carlton are falling in a heap in the second half. Who would've thought it?
