Collingwood will not have Cameron, Lipinski, Moore nor Pendlebury in the selected team. Sydney could get Curnow, McCartin and Serong back.

Meanwhile, Richmond has so many injured players that they are close to being unable to name a full squad of 23 players and 3 emergencies this weekend. They may need to field top-up players if their injuries get much worse.
Sydney plays Richmond at home in 2 weeks.

It seems a practice to play a promoted player for 2 or 3 games. So, maybe McLean gets another game
On that basis, maybe Curnow get another weeks rest in preparation for an away game in Geelong;Comment

In other news, Gulden showed up at training today where he took some shots at goal. He is about nine weeks away from returning but it is good to see him at training.

Changes for the game.
In: T.McCartin, J.Serong, C.Curnow
Out: D.Rampe (managed), M.Roberts (groin), H.McLean (omitted)
Slightly surprised by Rampe, as he has been playing some good football, but he is listed as managed, rather than omitted.Comment

This is probably Rampe's last season. Giving him a break allows Cox and the coaches to test defensive setups without Rampe. This is needed.
Edwards' three games: Edwards and Rampe. This week will be Edwards and McCartin for the first time. I am keen to see how the backline performs with this combination.
