    Jolly

I guess he has overcome his shoulder injury.

What a dominating performance, nearly always gave us first use of the ball.

49 hitouts! When was the last time we got a return like that .. if ever!

I can't recall ever seeing that many hitouts.

    Everitt's highest is 43.

made the difference, he was superb.

His cousin is one of my best friends, but they are not all that close.

We still need to have a better back up ruckman.

chambers is a dud, seriously he shouldn't be left in the team if he doesn't perform, he just needs to get some touches to get his confidence up...i think he has the potential if he works hard enough but at the moment i don't see much of it
We will mourn, but it will make us stronger....watch out AFL Sydney will be back in 2007 come September

Back to Jolly... Darren was fantastic tonight, absolute workhorse.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

                    AFL.com has Chambers at 2 HB, 9HO, 1 tackle, 1FF.
How much game time did he get?

I like Joilly because he has a bit of mongrel in him and he works darn hard even if he looks lumbering.

His palming was brilliant. Jason Ball may be having a little influence methinks.

Chambers didn't get a hell of a lot of game time tonight, compared to previous weeks.

Jolly was awesome in the ruck. Big showdown next week against Everitt.

                            jolly

great game by Jolly BUT would have LOVE to see him mark a couple at full forward and kick 1-2 goals regularly, irrespective of the opponents defenders height eg "shorter doggies or or other tall defenders. that would be his ideal contribution from him, from my angle. mix it up is always great technique.
It is good to see LRT going forward few ocassion (round 8)(presumably with the coach direction) It reminds me of the Brisbane dominant era with strong Leppistch kicking 2-3 goals againsts us often in each game, coming from defence. Again, if "going to be strong" LRT can mark a couple at full forward and kick 1-2 goals regularly, his mixing up of play will cause headache to ALL.

if all contributes, include the tall ruckman/tall key defender in marking & kicking 1-2 goals, then we are that much harder to beat all the time - we cover greater facet of the game.
once a game is reasonable decided, say by half or three quarter time in our favour, these mixes with tall ruckman/defender going for attacks (or other experiments) should be experimented to give them higher all round exposure

The Jollyfish looks like he is in great form at the moment, I think he is working particularly well with Jude Bolton, tapped it perfectly to him a few times.

Doin' just fine at the moment.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....
