Hopefully Mihocek's injury isn't too serious.
It was a top game and the good guys won! I can't see either team being a big factor in September but it was a highly entertaining game befitting of the occasion.

That little woosie boy Daicos pulled up short on a contest in the middle of the ground then got run down stuffing around in the turnover that led to the final goal for the Dees. Not even near the best player in the comp.

Eventually Pickett killed off the game, but he made some clangers in the process.

If a side SELLS its home games partuclarly to a football (afl) state there shoul be consequenses. It may have been the same result at Marvel but for north to get thrashed in that way they should be stopped from doing this, go the Northern territory to sell away games. the % change freo got out of that win is enormous.

An interesting coincidence: Western Bulldogs won away against Hawthorn, 77 to 71. Port Adelaide won away to West Coast, 77 to 71.

In the five games played so far, seven of the ten teams had scores between 71 and 77 inclusive. These scores were 71, 71, 74. 75, 75, 77, 77.

The Suns are becoming a bit of a disappointment this season. I wonder if it's because in the past few seasons, they traded out plenty of talent in order to match bids on academy players, most of whom aren't quite there yet, and therefore they lack a bit of depth?

That goal by King on the siren could turn out to be very handy for the Suns. His set shots are excellent. Meanwhile at the other end, Morris has got five, seemingly by putting the ball in the general direction of the goal and it somehow floating through.

Hawthorn 1.11 in the second half. Now that's what I call mediocre.
