Pity his skills don't match the love.

What game did you watch? Skills are not there. Seriously.

Not happy with McLean as a second ruck/forward. Why oh why did we not drop him in favour of Peter Ladhams.

He’s also working well into the games, getting better as they progress. His last quarter was pretty good.
On another bugbear topic of mine (sorry), the commentary was next level obnoxious. It’s less atmosphere without the noise, but it’s hard enough on the coronaries already without listening to these biased smarta&^#es, so off goes the sound.

Yep. Very good last quarter from Curnow in a high pressure game; encouraging.

Logan is really maturing this year. He's become one of our most dependable players. Clearly a great runner, excellent mark, wins contests, uses it intelligently.

He was good in the second half. Sometimes he looks centimeters away from being a very good footballer. That was his best game.

I don't like the stress. I dislike Port home crowds as well. I had to turn the game off for a while and do something else.

We got the win but it wasn't pretty.

Now for the bye. Lots of rest, massages with healing, fragrant oils and whatever else they do when they are taking a break to heal.

I'm not liking what's coming on the other side of the bye though. Brisbane (away), Bulldogs (home), Scary Purple Team (away), Adelaide (home), Giants (away). None of these games will be easy and getting three wins out of five in that block of matches would be a very good effort.

To finish, we have rematches against St Kilda and Port Adelaide, then finish off with Essendon and North Melbourne.

We really need to get some players back.

This. I think we have done well to be 2.5 games clear in second place, plus %, considering the amount of injuries we have. Hopefully the stars are aligned and we have a great run home with a near full strength side.

Yes! I'm seriously considering buying a defibrillator and am also looking forward to the stress-free weekend ahead!

With our injury list, I reckon tonight was a huge win! The Power are so-so and we're still nowhere near our best but it was an away win, we're second on the ladder and 3 wins ahead of third.

    GO YOU MIGHTY BLOODS!

Heeney can take em all fishing to relax and
    recuperate.
Some more trademark end game Swannies genius
was required (Lloyd, Rowie) yet again after a bulk of average
    performance for much of it.
Port have a good spread of talent though.

    Good game.

As they just said to Heens on ABC Grandstand, "seven out of your best twenty three out".....I'm taking these close wins when not playing well as great wins.

Sure we aren't at our best at the moment.....but we keep winning. With a bye rest and good players coming back, I'm feeling quite confident.

I'm also taking these close wins as a great rehearsal for tough finals games where maybe not everything will go our way....but we may well find a way.

    What a team!
