I'd like Kyle over Cleary but Roberts over Cleary is a no contest, not sure what the go is there

That back 6 looks good with Hamling and Serong

        That’s a head scratcher - Roberts omitted.
It seems like they like the look of Logan on the wing rather than Roberts who can’t necessarily mark the ball as well as Logan. So we would have 2 talls in the front line plus a resting ruck unless Ladhams is only going to be on when Grundy is off.
        Are we too tall?
Charlie Curnow needs to play more up the ground and may be run towards the goals a bit which can work with Amartey and a resting ruck up forward. He is a good field kick.

          IN: Gulden, McCartin, Ladhams
          OUT: Roberts, Kyle, McLean.

Pleased that we get ti try out 2 Rucks, unfortnately McLean gets squezed out as a result.

Good point raised re Cunningham retains his spot due to his record on Cameron, which i'd overlooked!

Roberts also unlucky to be squeezed out due to Gulden, Seromg & McDonald being our wing options.

Good sign with form players fighting for spots as the calvary start to return.

Ladhams in to support Grundy. And there was much rejoicing.

Roberts omitted is a bit of an odd choice, but I think this could be a horses-for-courses selection.

Logan isnt a wing, he is a fwd that goes up the ground, he and Curnow have a license to go there only because we play 3 talls fwd.
He kicked 3 goals last week, he is a fwd.

Ladhams will mostly be a chop out for Grundy but they will be on the ground together at times.
They can both chase the ball both ends knowing they have backup

Well, I thought Harry C would miss despite his record on Cameron. So I was wrong, kind of. And I don’t mind the selections. With the Lions having a plethora of dynamic half forwards, don’t mind the extra small down back.

And hopefully Ladhams can produce one of his bizarro, flying scissor kicks over the head of Andrews!

He played an awful lot of the game the other week in a genuine wing role, rather than a forward going up the ground.

Genuine wings run both ways, he hardly ventured back of Centre. He is a roaming fwd given a Licence due to us finally playing 3 talls and 2 rucks.
