    Any news?

On their page it says he was a late withdrawal.

The team goes in with two changes.

Jarred Moore returns this weekend after being sidelined with a thumb injury sustained four weeks ago whilst David Spriggs is a late withdrawal.

Did anyone actually go? if so how did you think the game was?

Go Josh and Timmy! First time in a long time that both of them have made the best players in the one match.

If Smokey isn't kicking any goals in a goal avalanche (and seemingly hasn't kicked any goals for some weeks), is he being re-invented as a defender? Anyone got news?

              Go my rookie love child!
And the man who started it, the Schneiderman, can kick his third for the quarter. And the swans are in the Grand Final!

In all the Swans reserves games I've watched over the past two and a bit years, when Smoky has played it has been predominantly in defence. The only time I saw him play as a forward was his first game back from injury, a few weeks ago.

He looks to be a HBF to me, possibly a tall wingman.

Hail to the chief. It's just that the Swans' website has always called him "a forward with a good leap and strong hands". Although the other major article ever written about him does introduce some uncertainty by quoting him as follows: "In the country I played sort of everywhere, and mostly in the forward line . . . oh, and down back in the finals. You know, I sort of play everywhere." (And, take my word for it, Jameson is a cute, if not overly exciting, little town.)

I might have to take back my dire predictions for Smokey's future, in that case. We're not overstocked with tallish HBFs, especially with Keneally's future hanging in the balance. So Liz, would he stand a chance in a footrace against Tadhg, or are we dreamin'?
