We know you don't rate him, but the disapraging nature of every comment is not warranted.

Strange, strange game. We've had our chances to be further in front, but could just as easily be a few goals down. Pressure has been pretty good so far however and plenty to like beyond the goal kicking!

Felt like the poor goalkicking evened out. And got the feel of whichever set of forwards starts taking a couple of marks will make a difference.

A great first half to keep the Scary Purple Team goalless. Fremantle have been kept goalless at half time only twice before: 10.9 to 0.1 vs Adelaide in 2009, and 2.9 to 0.3 versus Geelong in 2020.

Sydney went to the top of the live ladder briefly after Papley's second goal, but only just (8 to 33), then Fremantle took top spot back again with one of their many behinds.

To end the round on top, Sydney needs to win by 24 points (but this margin reduces with higher scores: 23 at 14-37, 22 at 92-70).

Can someone from the hierarchy PLEASE get someone to teach these blokes forwards especially how to mark. Get Warwick Capper in. Too busy wrestling , no judgement on the flight of the ball. Grrr!

Just need the Big forwards to compete better. They have been very ordinary so far. Midfield and Backline excellent.

Well we can't complain about the effort so far, but we've been lucky that Freo can't kick a goal. Once they get on target there could be some trouble...

                  Wrong

I rate him as a back up defender, he isnt a fwd, never has been.

If Melican gets recalled at Full Forward I'll be equally disappointed

boy we are lucky freo can't kick straight, Chad has had a couple of forgettable moments - Hamling is struggling up forward as well as Hayden but i feel make shift fwds and fwd rucks will aganist a quality defence

That last kick was a bit Buddy like.
