I'm resisting the temptation to rush Campbell back into the team after just one VFL game. His first game for the year. Hopefully he's pulled up ok and assess him for a senior return next week.
Hanily did ok to retain his spot.
Rewarding either Datolli or Cootee for their persistent good VFL form (I rather give the nod to Dattoli for his first crack this year).
Bice may also need to be rewarded but can only see him replacing Rampe, which would be a big call. Melican is the other possible option for Adelaide's 3 tall forwards.
Out - Hanily, Cleary and Hamling
In - Campbell, Rosas, McDonald
Play Campbell 50-60% game time
We need good forward structure and we need to get it right before the season ends
This will only leave Mcinerney and Wicks on sideline and Bice / Melican on the fringe .
i think we are missing Wicks in defence, he has been an unsung hero to lock away and then also rebound and putting Blakey into space.
if Rosas is not selected the other option is to get Melican in and move Harry Kyle in the forward half. I think he is smart and can do the job but not sure if he has the tank or not.
I can't see us winning a premiership with Lloyd and Rampe in the team. There is little time left to get the right mix for this year. For me:
In - McDonald Mexican Campbell
Out - Hamling Rampe Lloyd

i have no idea what if any changes they make BUT Lloyd won't be dropped (not saying he shouldn't)
Jake Lloyd must be one of the most unappreciated Swans' ever. There were folks calling for him to be dropped even when he went on to win 2 Bob Skilton medals. Can't believe some people still calling for him to be dropped.
Jake has been one of most versatile and reliable players ever to play for the Swans. He retains all the attributes that has kept him a mainstay in the team for a dozen years and has added goal kicking to his skill set.
As for this week, I would bring in Melican, McDonald and Campbell (if he pulls up well from his VFL game), replacing, Hamling, Cleary and Hanily.
Speculation Taylor Walker will be rested this week who sits on 699 goals, with the notion he gets to kick his 700th the following week at home against the Pies.

You are quite right regarding Lloydy- he has been a great servant and a player who wins 2 Bob Skilton medals has to be appreciated, no question. The issue is what he brings to the team right now. No one can deny that he’s useful but it’s also obvious that his best form is behind him now. Yes, he can link up a bit and score some goals but there’s no clear position for him, either HF or on the wing. He won’t be dropped but I’d prefer to blood a young player with an eye to the future. But I agree with you regarding the 3 changes, assuming Campbell is ready to come back in, though Hanily may keep his spot otherwise.
I think there needs to be repercussions after that loss. Too many passengers on the bus.
Out - Rampe (Cox needs to tap him on the shoulder), Cleary (you've been given 25 games but still you can't find your feet), Hamling (0 touches needs to be addressed) and Hanily.
In - McDonald, Campbell, Snell (overdue....he holds the backline together in the rezzies) and Philipou (needs to be rewarded for building a fantastic VFL season)
Hamling must be sent back to the VFL. It is unacceptable to play a game and not get a single disposal with 62% time on ground.
Cleary and Hanily have been serviceable, but someone has to make way when first-23 players become available.
On form, Snell has been putting his hand up in the VFL and waving like mad. Pick me! Pick me! He has to come in at some point. If not now, when?
Campbell could come in or he could play another week in the VFL to gain match fitness. He had a decent game and could be ready for a recall on managed minutes.
McDonald is "good to go" and will come straight in.
So I think the changes might be:
In: Campbell, McDonald, Snell (debut game)
Out: Cleary, Hanily, Hamling
